個展無事終了しました。
オーストラリアでの個展は、はじめての展示にも関わらず、本当にたくさんの現地の方々に見てもらうことが出来ました。
言葉があまり分からなくても、お客さんが器を手にとってくれる様子や反応を見られることは、私にとってとても嬉しいものでした。
素敵なギャラリーとそのスタッフや家族、素敵なお客さんに、あたたかく迎えてもらい、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
念願のコアラやカンガルー、カラフルな鳥や植物、かわいらしい家や美味しい食べものなどなど、見るもの触れるものすべて新鮮で、最高に楽しい旅でした。
真夏のオーストラリアから帰って来ると、旅立つときは真冬だった日本も、帰国した時には春の気配が、、
海外に行くと、自分の好きなものを作る場所があること、作品を見てくれる人がいること、サポートしてくれる人がいること、本当にありがたいなあと改めて思います。
感謝の気持ちと旅の記憶を栄養に、日々また制作に励みたいと思います。

My recent exhibition at paper boat press in Australia has finished with a great success and I was very happy that so many people visited to see my work even though it was my first time having a show there. Even without understanding the language, to actually see the way people look at my work or how they make really great reactions was very special and made me really happy.
My heart is filled with so much gratitude for this beautiful gallery and its amazing people and family, and wonderful customers for welcoming me so warmly while I was there for my exhibition. Everything I saw and did during my time in Australia was all new to me – meeting koalas and kangaroos, seeing colorful birds and interesting plants, lovely houses and delicious foods….it was all full of inspirations and I had an amazing trip.
Returning from the very warm Australian summer back to Japan, I could feel the spring in the air though when I left it was still middle of winter…. Being somewhere completely foreign, it made me realise how grateful I feel to have the place and opportunity to create something I love, to have wonderful people who appreciate my work, and to have people who support me.
With my thankful thoughts and happy memories of this trip as a nourishment, I will continue to work hard for my creations.

とても素敵なディスプレイをしていただきました。
個展初日の夜のローンチパーティには、たくさんの方々が来てくださいました。
とっても可愛いお客さん達と。ふたりとも絵を描くのがとても好きなんだそうです。
個展二日目には、絵付けのデモンストレーションをしました。少し緊張しつつ、たくさんの方が見て喜んでくれたのが嬉しかったです。
